Back in the Running Shoes

Today, I was finally back in my running shoes for the first time in three weeks since I got BPPV. Felt ok, but I didn’t want to go out too strong so I landed on 6.4 km in 32:05.

I ran 14.2 km in 1:11:48 today. Felt good. Had at least 5 “k” more in my legs. Will try to go for 20 km next weekend. No I am meeting up with some friends to have a beer.

This morning I ran 10 km in 48:32, before leaving to work. It (almost) always feels good to start the day with a run.

Today I ran 11 km in 53:39 in the rain, after coming home from work. It was my first run with the new Nike+ GPS app for iPhone. Really cool app. It tracks your route with the GPS so you can see where you have been running.

My New Workout Routine

I tried my new workout routine for the first time today. Felt good. It’s a bit different from how I have been training before. I am supposed to run the routine, 3-5 times per week, for six weeks, then I will get I new one. If you want to try it I have posted it below.

Warm up
10 minutes on the treadmil, maximun incline, speed: 5 km/h, walking

Exercises
Deadlifts
Dumbbell Incline Bench Press
Lats Pulldown
Dumbbell Shoulder Press
21′s Bicep Curl
Overhead Tricep Cable
Sit Ups on Swissball (3×30)

For each exercise goes 3 sets with 10 reps per set. First set: warm up, low weights. Second set: medium set. Third set: maximum, heavy weights.
