Unfortunately I have to cancel my participation in the Zurich Marathon 2011, as one of my cuisines is getting married in Gothenburg the day before, and “surprisingly” there are not too many connections by air or train that allows me to leave Gothenburg late on Saturday and to be in Zurich before the race starts at 10.00 on Sunday. Looking forward to the wedding though, I could always find another marathon to run. Rome maybe?

Saturday, October 16th, 2010I ran 14.2 km in 1:11:48 today. Felt good. Had at least 5 “k” more in my legs. Will try to go for 20 km next weekend. No I am meeting up with some friends to have a beer.

Wednesday, September 29th, 2010Today I ran 11 km in 53:39 in the rain, after coming home from work. It was my first run with the new Nike+ GPS app for iPhone. Really cool app. It tracks your route with the GPS so you can see where you have been running.
Gym Membership
Tuesday, August 17th, 2010Finally! I have found a gym membership that doesn’t drill a big hole in my budget. It was actually relatively inexpensive to be London. And the best part, since I signed up for a six months membership I got a PT for twelve weeks. Thx Nuffield Health. Even though I only understand half of what my PT is saying, because he is really Irish, I have really learned a lot. Apparently it is hard to bulk up at the same time you are training for a marathon. Haha. No seriously he seams to know a few things.
